Burn time

We highly recommend that you burn your CONTAINER candle for no longer than 2-3 hours at a time. This will make your candle burn better and last longer.

The first burn is the most important! Leave your candle to burn for at least an hour or two to create a sufficient melt pool and keep a close eye on it. This will allow the candle to have a "memory", so now whenever you light your candle thereafter the melt pool will not extend past your last melt pool because the candle "remembered" where it stopped melting to.

Wax drip

Some of our candles will drip when you burn them. We highly recommend placing your candle on a small dish to catch any wax as it drips and you can leave a piece of paper underneath for extra precaution. You can place the candles on paper as well but keep the candle in sight just in case. Let the wax cool completely before removing. If the cooled wax doesn't fully snap off of your dish, you can place it in the fridge to help ensure the all the wax is fully cooled.

Wick trimming

When you receive your candle, remove all labels and trim the wick to 1/4 of an inch. With any candle, it’s important to trim the wick after each burn. Always blow the candle out first and wait for it to cool down before trimming the wick. Keeping a well-trimmed wick will avoid the wick from getting overheated and  flame getting too large and creating smoke.

Sunlight & heat

Please avoid leaving your candles in direct sunlight or heat! Don't leave candles in a room or space where it get's really hot, as the candle wax can melt. Place them away from sunlight to ensure you get the most out of your candle.
